here are the preliminary storyboards fore scene 2 for your review. note that I'm not quite done with them but I wanted to get some input on what I have so far. it's in a combined pdf file.

TheAnim8orMovie_Scene2_storyboards_0000.pdf

I'm going to add the dialog and effects on the side of each image. as well as add the shot number and camera direction. please fill free to comment and add your opinions about the staging and or composition of each shot(or raz me about my artistic ability. Wink )

Rough storyboard + rough voices = rough amazingness. seriously, check it out. The end part's missing of course, and we can always change it around, but it is so great to see an audio visual representation of what we have here!

I think he just means that he's used to working without storyboards. Except we've meant to for a while. Our main artist left, and we were missing out on an important step. This way everyone has more input into the shots.

Cool.

I believe in input from multiple views and interests besides that's our target audience. the more we get views on the shot and flow of the scene the cleaner the end product will be.

if someone doesn't like something please say so. we may have an uneasy scene intentionally. but if it makes you feel uneasy and it's not supposed to ...then we have to figure out why.

I still dig that rough animatic!

the color changed due to lost blue pencil so I used a pen.

I'll work on cleanup tonight.

I think there should be a few action shots between the King's "Lights, camera , action!" line, such as a few torches lighting up after the "lights" command, or moving the Sondra & cameraman's eye roll up a few panels so it sits as a reaction to "Camera!" Other than that, I like it a lot. It's busy enough to show how bustling the scene is, with plenty of good action shots counterpointing the camera POV. I wonder if there should be a few funny camera shots, such as bad focusing, or a close-up of some fair maiden's blouse.

Thanks for the input! I am still working on the clean up adding some color and may add lighting effects still but I can still add/remove or arrange frames!
